Gather your Grimoire

Gather Your Grimoire is a spell-slinging, deck-building, competitive deduction game that tasks each Player with completing the lessons of their elder wizards, known as “Hofthanrs”, in order to join them as masters of the magical arts.
 
Each Player starts with a unique Affinity Card, as well as their first Hofthanr Card. They will build a Deck out of the 6 available Spell types and take turns Conjuring these Spells into their Grimoire. Once the Spells in the Grimoire match the Spells on their Hofthanr, they gain that Hofthanr’s powerful ability, as well as a new Hofthanr to learn from.
 
As these Spells are Conjured, they unleash powerful effects. Other Players can interrupt them with their own Spells, giving them a chance to fight back. What’s more, the identity of each Player’s Hofthanr is kept hidden, and by guessing them correctly, Players can add Spells to their Deck, and Conjure new ones into their Grimoire. Each of the Affinity Cards also has its own, powerful ability, and while it can not be used frequently, it can decimate your opponents and even be Sacrificed to accelerate the completion of Grimoires. When a Player Completes the Grimoires of 3 different Hofthanrs, they win the game.
